Social Responsibility in FC St. Pauli Merchandising | Fair & Transparent

Social Responsibility

The heart of St. Pauli beats for everyone – we take responsibility for the people along our supply chain. Fairer wages, safe working conditions and transparent partnerships are the foundation of how we work with our suppliers.

📜
Standards & Responsibility

Social Code of Conduct

Our suppliers commit to clearly defined social and environmental standards. These include fair working conditions, safe production facilities and respectful treatment of all workers throughout the supply chain.

  • ✔ No forced or child labour
  • ✔ No discrimination
  • ✔ Appropriate working hours and remuneration
  • ✔ Safe working conditions
  • ✔ More environmentally friendly production
  • ✔ Freedom of association

We regularly verify compliance with these standards through audits and on-site visits.

Independent Oversight

Fair Wear Foundation

Since 2021 we have been a member of the Fair Wear Foundation – as the first and to date only professional football club in the world to do so.

Together with brands, trade unions and NGOs, Fair Wear works to improve working conditions in the textile industry over the long term.

Our supply chains and progress are reviewed annually. We publish the results transparently in the Brand Performance Check Report.

🌿
Fair Cotton

Fairtrade & Living Wages

We source Fairtrade-certified cotton . This supports fair prices, long-term partnerships and better prospects for cotton farmers.

Almost all skull hoodies and T-shirts are also produced to the Fairtrade Textile Standard, which promotes living wages. We consciously absorb a share of the additional costs ourselves.

🌍
Transparency & Partnerships

Long-term Collaboration over Fast Production

We have been working with some of our production facilities for over 20 years. At the same time, we deliberately keep the number of our partners small in order to build relationships over the long term and accompany processes with transparency.

Our main production countries are India, Turkey, China and Portugal. We also work with facilities in Germany, Poland and Slovakia.

Certified Standards

Together with independent organisations and standards, we continuously work to improve working conditions and transparency along our supply chains.
