We have implemented specific measures when selecting our materials, setting production conditions and choosing packaging. Here, we show you what that means—from raw materials to the fan shop.

The materials we use
We use organic cotton and recycled polyester in parts of our product range. For some items, we use wood or metal instead of plastic. For paper products, we look for materials from FSC- or PEFC-certified forestry.

Where packaging is necessary, we use recycled and/or recyclable materials.
Recycling
RE:FIBRE with PUMA
Since September 2024, we have been collecting old clothes together with PUMA through Take Back Bins in our shops. Some of the collected materials are made into new fabrics—including jerseys.
Certifications
Certifications
Depending on the product, our items carry certifications such as GOTS, FSC, PEFC or the EU organic logo. Compliance with these standards is monitored by independent bodies.

Project in India
Since 2023, together with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, we have been supporting 450 smallholder farmers in India in transitioning to organic cotton farming.
