Biography: Johannes Walenta is a freelance illustrator and 3D designer working mainly in animation, cover design and band artwork as well as illustration for agencies and brands. He studied communication design at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle. During this time he has created a variety of scrennprints, ranging from gig posters for his own concerts, to working for many different bands, both locally and internationally. He founded "KOPFUBER.COM" to create cover artwork, shirts and posters for bands and clients. As part of the artist duo "PAPA GALLOSCH" he also painted many murals. During his work at festivals like IBUg he talked to many other artists - and the "Millerntor Gallery" certainly came up often. So Johannes told us that he is very happy to be part of this series of "Heimspielprints". He has been working and living in Berlin since 2017.
