Samora Bazarrabusa (better known as Oibel1) was born in Zurich. From a young age he was concerned with art and music. After a few years as a rapper on the road, he decided to devote himself entirely to painting again and was soon able to develop an unmistakable style. You can now find his so-called Feses and Oibots in many places in his hometown of Zurich, but also in cities such as Hamburg, Berlin, Prague and Kampala. All pictures, whether brightly colored or just black lines, convey a lot of energy. The inspiration comes from everywhere, when painting he lets his thoughts and feelings run free and implements them surreally on the canvas. “I like the quick and easy way,” he says, although he usually paints without sketching beforehand. Art is there to inspire and stimulate discussions about things or circumstances that are not obvious and / or taken for granted will. "As colorful as the world is, it still needs more color and I want to make my contribution".
